The 2014 Loovus Dzevavor Model Search begins!!!

Y’all, when I tell you that I am EXCITED right now, it would be a huge understatement.  The search for five new faces of one of my absolute favorite fashion design houses IS ON and yours truly is one of the semi-finalists *insert squeal here*

I have been a fan of Loovus Dzevavor from day one, and the fashion house is getting bigger by the day with the addition of new designers and specialty items at various events across the grid.  I have always adored the fun, youthful, funky, rock star kind of feeling I get when wearing LD Designs.  I say that…but then again there are plenty of elegant, classy, and exotic creations to be found as well (along with hair, and shoes, and purses, oh my!)  Needless to say I am humbled and honored to be considered among the truly brilliant models who have made it this far in this competition.  Here is the ‘lil getup I put together which got me this far…enjoy!!

Welcome Autumn

Happy Sunday friends on this exquisite Fall day.  Here in the Bayou of Southern Louisiana it is almost like our Springtime after a long oppressively humid summer.  It’s my favorite time of year when I can open all the windows, burn some sandalwood incense and allow the cool air to breathe new life into the house!  Today I decided to take a stroll to the “Cool Beans” cafe in Second life for a cup of Joe before shopping.  It is peak season for changing leaves and the foliage here is exquisite!  I absolutely adore the Loovus Dzevavor line and had to run out to buy the new “Duo Diva” dress at the most recent round of “Material Girls”.  I love how daring Vikee gets with her prints, and how she always manages to give funky and wild patterns the most lady like silhouette.  I am also trying out a new shape I’ve been working with (I seem to change with the seasons!)  Let me know what you think!

#2 LOTD Happy 10th Birthday SL!

Second Life is officially a decade old!  For those of us who have been in the game for many years, it certainly has flown by.  I’ve been a resident of SL for 6 and a half of those 10 years and we certainly have come a long way baby!  Today I am decked out in all FREE, FABULOUS gifts from some of my very favorite designers.  Even my new kitten is free, a wonderful gift from KittyCatS! with a limited edition SL 10th birthday theme!  A big thanks to KittyCatS, Yula Finesmith for this months incredible gift set (glasses, earrings and necklace to die for), and to the amazing Vikeejeah Xevion for this amazing free dress from her Loovus Dzevavor collection.  Anyone can see why a shop-a-holic and fashion lover could become so addicted to SL.  Here’s to many more years in the Metaverse!
