Happy Summer friends! As a teacher, my summer break just started so you MAY be seeing a bit more of me for the next couple of months…
This adorable outfit was one of the FLF sale items and I couldn’t help but snatch it up! I just love the top with it’s bustier detailing and the sweet little floral print on the top as well as the flirty little skirt. This get up just felt so “festival cool” to me, so I accessorized it to be a bit hip and bohemian, although the outfit definitely exudes a sexy vibe which can’t be ignored!

Happy weekend friends! Today I am honored to share a Chop Zuey masterpiece which was released just today for the “Art in Hats, Hats in Art” event. After the great success of last year’s Art in Hats, Hats in Art, the art and fashion event is back as a full-sim event. Come see artists, designers, photographers and builders create hats and art. From June 14th until July 31st some of the grids best designers have created stunning works of art and the “Sailing to Byzantium” fascinator by Chop Zuey is no exception. Based on a classic poem by Yeats of the same name, “Sailing to Byzantium” features brilliant nautical shades of Aquamarine, Garnet, Padparadscha Sapphire, and Kalahari Diamond. The jewels sparkle in the way that only Chop Zuey jewels can, and the fascinator even features a flexi “sail” which blows in the wind, completing the dramatic statement piece.
Be sure to visit the “Art in Hats” event to admire these one of a kind creations.

Hello peeps! Fresh off of .PENUMBRA. Fashion week and my Top 3 win in the Colour of Couture challenge yesterday, I am happy to announce a wee break and some time to show you some of the lovely items that have been collecting dust in my inventory! Today I bring you the first in my collection from “Couture Rock/ F.A.P.P. (Fashion.Art.People.Party“, a new store by one of my favorite style icons in SL, Miss Nibborekab Nightfire! This collection is so fierce, so couture, so L.A.M.B. like in it’s steampunk-y and glam deliciousness that it makes me drool. At Couture Rock, everything is laid out where you can easily mix and match all of the wonderful items and accessories to make a truly one of a kind glam rock style.
Today I bring you the “Steampunk Slugger Coordinates” available in the main store. Says Niborrekab:
“The coords when worn together create an exclusive outfit that I have not released in-store. Steampunk Slugger is influenced by musician Emilie Autumn and the Plague Rats. They live in a victorian asylum for wayward girls. So this outfit is what I imagine the leader of a Victorian girl gang would wear.
The clockwork theme in the necklace is also a nod to Kubrick’s movie about teenage gangs with a sense of style and love of classical music A Clockwork Orange.
The Platinum Slugger is scripted and the F.A.P.P. snapback are a cheeky nod to modern street gangs. I hope you enjoy.”
Any outfit inspired by the brilliant Emile Autumn is enough to make run out to buy it. And YES, there is a platinum baseball bat accessory not seen here…how cool is that?! Check out this fab new store today!

For those of you who have been following the 2014 Colour of Couture Top Model Competition, I thank you for your support! This amazing experience is nearing an end, and our final runway challenge before the grand finale and crowning of CoC was our interpretation of the RL Spring 2014 DSquared2 Collection. This collection was inspired by 1950’s bombshells and was just dripping with old hollywood sex appeal. From the tousled curls to the legs with no end…this collection was all about femininity.
I took my inspiration from the Monochromatic section of DSquared2’s Spring/ Summer collection. There were a few black and white looks which I felt really exuded old Hollywood glamor and sex appeal. I knew I wanted to show LOTS of leg, and to do so with a retro high-waisted bottom. I loved the rich look of a snow-white outfit with black accents on the shorts, bra, and jacket.
Many of the models in the collection were seen in big-brimmed sun hats and cat eye glasses so I knew I wanted that to be a part of my styling. I also stuck with soft retro waves and coral colored gloss which I noticed on many of the models, particularly in the monochromatic designs. The over sized tote bag features a crocodile print which I chose after seeing it on some coats in the collection. I completed the look with some statement earrings and an elegant brooch for an elegant finish to the look.

Hi again lovelies! So I am quite behind in my blogging assignments of late and it dawned on me that I am WAY overdue to share one of the most important ones of all! Here is my styling for the “Earth Hour Challenge” in this years Colour of Couture Top Model Competition. Can you tell I had a lot of fun with this one? The Earth Hour show took place on March 22nd (see I’m only a month late), and was quite an event. As you can see there were countless designers sponsoring the event, and it was the live runway debut of the Colour of Couture candidates. Our challenge? “FOR EARTH HOUR YOU WILL STYLE COSMO COUTURE. THIS WILL BE FUN AND WILD SO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX HOWEVER; YOU WILL HAVE TO USE YOUR PRIMARY COLORS OF BLUE/GREEN TO REPRESENT THE EARTH.” I hope you enjoy my interpretation.

With this styling I tried to blend organic elements of the Earth with both cosmic and spiritual elements. I wanted my outfit to reflect the fantastic mysteries of the Universe and where we Earthlings fit into the grand scheme of things. I styled myself as a mystical goddess, balancing the Earth effortlessly on my crown as I dance through the galaxy. We see this dance of the Goddess in all things, cycles, and seasons, and the more in tune we are to these cosmic patterns, the better off our planet and all of its inhabitants will be.
